I purchased 3 types of ceviche at the Hillcrest Farmer's market. Shrimp, halibut and aqua chilies. I think that's how you spell it. That one is a friend's favorite type and she said it was one of the best she ever tasted. The shrimp was excellent and the halibut was exotic and tasty. All were very fresh and flavorful. I would definitely love to try the restaurant. I'm certain it would be a wonderful experience if anything like the product I purchased at the farmer's market.

Initially I thought 12 for a Beer Battered Shrimp Burrito was a little pricey but when it came bursting with the shrimp in every bite I knew it was worth it. We had grilled and battered shrimp tacos also...delicious.

Stopped in here for lunch on a Wednesday. It’s inside a little western food hall style building with two other restaurants. Atmosphere was really cool. Service was quick and good. Mostly importantly, the food was really tasty. I had the shrimp aguachile and beans/rice. It was very fresh and delicious. Presentation and portions were great too. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone that likes fresh seafood.

La Isla Cevicheria is located inside the food hall. They have never disappointed us no matter our order. I suggest their Shrimp Bowl because it is simply delicious! Lots of shrimp in a generous portion

Superb food here. We had the beer-battered shrimp quesadillas. They were huge in addition to being delicious. Loaded with fresh, tasty shrimp and jack cheese on a buttery flour tortilla. Simple and perfect with the tomatillo-cilantro salsa that came with it. We also split a large aqua fresca and it was plenty for two. This was Jamaica flavor. Made with hibiscus flowers. Like Hawaiian Punch but more interesting flavor and very common in Mexico. Sweeter than I usually prefer but this really worked. The other flavor of aqua fresca on offer was lime-cucumber. This is a counter service restaurant. They give you a beeper for when your order is ready. It's located in a mini food court inside a building called The Cookhouse. This is an historic building and there are a few others in this historic site called Vail Headquarters. Now a small mall with shops and other places to eat. Vail Headquarters was originally the location of a massive ranch that covered the Temecula Valley before Temecula as we know it existed. All of Vail Headquarters is heavily themed in a shabby-chic way to pioneer days without being a bit kitsch. It's a really attractive refuge in a sea of strip malls and a very pleasant place to visit.

This place is super cool. it is located in a little, Western-looking plaza in Temecula. The birra tacos that I had were super delicious and came with some spicy dipping sauce. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.
